Auto-Declination of Devices Found to Require Difficult-To-Source Parts . GizmoRepair.com holds a high standard for quality of parts used in our repairs. Because of this, some repair parts may require more time for GizmoRepair.com to acquire. In the event GizmoRepair.com cannot find adequate parts for your repair order, an email will be sent to you, notifying you of the condition and your device will be returned immediately to the shipping address you provided. In the event your device cannot be repaired and GizmoRepair.com needs to return your device, GizmoRepair.com will credit your account for parts no longer needed, less any evaluation or labor fees.This is also noted in the product descriptions listed on GizmoRepair.com.
Device Abandonment
When you send your device to GizmoRepair.com, you can expect GizmoRepair.com to complete the services you request and return your device to you promptly. In some circumstances, GizmoRepair.com may need your consent before repairing your device. If GizmoRepair.com cannot reach you via the contact methods you provided, GizmoRepair.com will attempt to contact you two more times. If GizmoRepair.com cannot get in touch with you and if your device stays at GizmoRepair.com's facility for more than 30 days, your device will be discarded in an environmentally friendly manner. In the event this occurs, GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for discarded devices or discarded device data and your costs incurred will not be reimbursed.
Disassembled and/or PreOpened Devices
Additional fees may apply if you send your device to GizmoRepair.com dissembled. In the event this occurs, GizmoRepair.com will notify you of the additional cost ahead of time before the repair is completed and before you are charged. If your device has been previously opened or disassembled, your device may return repaired from GizmoRepair.com with limited or less functionality.
If We Break Something
If GizmoRepair.com breaks or damages your device, GizmoRepair.com will immediately notify you and GizmoRepair.com will repair said damages at no cost. In the event this occurs, GizmoRepair.com may replace damaged parts with new or refurbished parts of equal or greater value. Parts and labor costs will be covered in accordance with GizmoRepair.com's Parts and Labor Guarantee policy.
Installation of Customer-Supplied Parts
GizmoRepair.com uses parts exclusively acquired by GizmoRepair.com and will not use or install parts provided by customers or third parties. GizmoRepair.com will not "swap" parts from one customer-owned device to another, as these practices do not comply with GizmoRepair.com's quality standards.
Water-Damaged Devices
If your device is water-damaged, (damage as a result of moisture, water, liquid, or humidity) your device may return repaired from GizmoRepair.com with limited or less functionality. GizmoRepair.com will notify you prior to repairing your water-damaged device with estimated water-damage repair results.
Jail-Broken, Unlocked, Hacked/Cracked Devices
GizmoRepair.com, along with Apple, does not endorse or recommend jail-breaking, hacking, unlocking, or cracking. If your device has been jail-broken, hacked, cracked, or unlocked, GizmoRepair.com will not offer a repair warranty. GizmoRepair.com will not guarantee parts or labor used on jail-broken devices.
Firmware Load
If your device needs to be restored, and you do not specify which version of firmware you want installed on your device, GizmoRepair.com will install the latest version of Firmware that's currently available from Apple.
Devices that Do Not Immediately Power On and/or Have a Broken Faceplate, Screens, and/or LCDs
If GizmoRepair.com is not immediately able to power on your device, or if your device has a heavily scratched, cracked, broken faceplate, or an LCD that does not power on, your device may return repaired from GizmoRepair.com with limited or less functionality.
De-Activated Devices
If your device arrives to GizmoRepair.com and it has been deactivated, GizmoRepair.com will attempt to reactivate your device using the most recent version of iTunes. Your device may return repaired from GizmoRepair.com with limited or less functionality.
Loss of Data
GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for data loss incurred as a result of any GizmoRepair.com's repair/replacement procedures. GizmoRepair.com strongly suggests backing up your data before sending us your device.
Loss of Hearing
GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for any loss of hearing that you may incur as a result of using your device after it has received parts/services from GizmoRepair.com.
Order Cancellation and/or Re-Stocking Fee
A 8% re-stock fee may result if you cancel your order before merchandise is shipped and/or before you send your device to GizmoRepair.com. The re-stock fee will be taken from the total amount of your order before your account is credited.
Parts and Labor Guarantee
GizmoRepair.com stands behind an iron-clad guarantee that our parts and labor will perform as advertised. If you feel that your GizmoRepair.com serviced device is not performing to these standards, please contact GizmoRepair.com immediately.
Important Note: If you purchase a part, service, accessory, or kit, your warranty for the purchased part/service/accessory/kit begins the moment your credit card is charged, not the date the original charge for the evaluation occurred. If you return your device to GizmoRepair.com for another evaluation or different/new repair(s), your warranty for those products/services begin the moment your card is charged for those additional products/services. The expiration date of your warranty is defined by the above warranty starting point. GizmoRepair.com will use the date you inquired about a warranty repair to check for warranty repair eligibility, not the date your device arrives to GizmoRepair.com's facility. After contacting GizmoRepair.com about a warranty repair inquiry and if you are a US resident, you have two weeks from the initial contact date to send us your device for warranty repair consideration. Residents outside the US have three weeks. GizmoRepair.com reserves the right to decline warranty coverage if your shipment arrives delayed and causes your device to fall outside of the warranty period. Batteries Guarantee
GizmoRepair.com guarantees our batteries for ten years from the date of purchase. If your battery has evidence that it has been dropped, evidence of weather damage, water damage or similar condition besides normal wear, your battery warranty will be discontinued. Removing the label from your battery voids the warranty. GizmoRepair.com's battery guarantee is non-transferable to individuals outside of your immediate family. Battery Failure During The First Year
If you receive a self-install battery from GizmoRepair.com and it either fails completely or fails to provide the advertised uses during the first year from the date you purchased the battery, follow these steps to obtain a brand new replacement battery.

LCDs and Outer Glass/Digitizers Guarantee
GizmoRepair.com guarantees our LCDs and Outer Glass/Digitizers for one year from the date of purchase. Your warranty will be immediately discontinued if your device has evidence that it has been dropped, evidence of extreme weather damage, water damage or similar condition besides normal wear. GizmoRepair.com's LCD/Outer Glass/Digitizer guarantee is non-transferable to individuals outside of your immediate family.
GizmoRepair.com guarantees our other parts, including but not limited to hard drives, headphone jacks, assemblies, off/hold switches, logic boards, charging ports, etc. for one year from the date of purchase. If your GizmoRepair.com product has evidence that it has been dropped, evidence of weather damage, water damage, excessive wear, or similar condition other than normal wear, your warranty will immediately be discontinued. This guarantee is non-transferable to individuals outside of your immediate family.
Important Note:
If a part fails during the first year from a previous complete repair conducted by GizmoRepair.com, GizmoRepair.com will be responsible for the cost of the part only. You will be responsible for the cost of shipping. In some circumstances, GizmoRepair.com will reimburse shipping costs you incur on parts or repair orders. Opening your device after GizmoRepair.com has repaired it will immediately void the device's warranty. If you received a self-install part and it fails during the first year of purchase date, GizmoRepair.com will replace the part and pay for shipping. GizmoRepair.com does not pay to ship replacement parts if you live outside the US. If your part has evidence that it has been dropped, evidence of weather damage, water damage, excessive wear, or similar condition other than normal wear, then GizmoRepair.com will charge you the total current price of the part. If this should occur, GizmoRepair.com will reimburse your shipping costs.
Parts Used
In some circumstances, GizmoRepair.com will repair your device with re-conditioned parts. Whether GizmoRepair.com uses new or re-conditioned parts, both will be covered by GizmoRepair.com's one year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty excludes batteries, which have a ten year warranty from the date of purchase. Please refer to our Parts Guarantee section for more information.
Photography
If your device has a built-in camera, for the purpose of quality control, GizmoRepair.com will test your device's camera before and after the device is serviced. None of your pictures will be viewed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If GizmoRepair.com finds child pornography or other incriminating or illegal images on your device, GizmoRepair.com will be obligated to contact the appropriate authorities.
All photography and images on GizmoRepair.com are property of GizmoRepair.com. GizmoRepair.com owns the exclusive rights to these images. You may not copy or use these images without written consent from GizmoRepair.com. For more information, see our Copyright terms.
Pricing
GizmoRepair.com's prices may change at any time without notice. GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for reimbursing and monetary differences to customers as a result of changed prices.
Retail Box Policy
GizmoRepair.com does not recommend shipping your device in its original factory box. All original factory boxes sent to GizmoRepair.com's facility will not be returned. GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for returning any factory boxes sent to our facility. Please refer to our Guidance for Safe Shipping instructions for more information on this topic.
Returning Replaced Parts
GizmoRepair.com will return the original back plate or faceplate to you if those items need to be replaced. Unless you request otherwise, GizmoRepair.com will discard replaced batteries, logic boards, LCD's, hard drives, etc. Cracked glass screens will not be returned.

Depending on the repair or part you purchase, you may be entitled to a return policy. Read below to learn about GizmoRepair.com's various return policies:
Rules For Expedited Service
Expedited Service is available with GizmoRepair.com. Depending on the time GizmoRepair.com receives your device and depending on product inventory, at your request, you may be eligible for expedited service. To become eligible for expedited service, you must leave a working telephone number so GizmoRepair.com can contact you immediately to confirm order and shipping details. If the device fails to make the projected agreed-upon shipping deadline, the amount you are charged for expedited shipping will be credited. If you would like your service expedited via walking in to GizmoRepair.com, you must deliver your device to our facility no later than 1pm and you must return to pick the device up no later than 7pm the same business day. No credit will be issued if the service was performed but the device was not picked up at the given time. Some testing of the device will be skipped in order to provide the expedited service. Expedited service is not available
Sales Tax
GizmoRepair.com charges sales tax on all orders placed in our store and orders shipped to Pennsylvania. Please let GizmoRepair.com know ahead of time if you are Sales Tax exempt.
Serial Numbers
If your order requires a replaced logic board and/or back plate, your device's serial number may change. Please note that if your serial number changes, it will not match the serial number you may have registered with Apple. GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for manufacturer warranty difficulties or disruptions as a result of your device's serial number having changed.
Shipping
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Packages GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. GizmoRepair.com has a policy of insuring most outbound packages for $100 USD. These do not require a signature for delivery.
Automatic Shipping Method Grading Depending on the status of the repair and the amount of incoming orders, GizmoRepair.com may change the selected shipping method of your order and reserves the right to do so. Depending on your shipping address, the selected shipping method you choose may have little or no effect on the speed the shipment takes to arrive at your selected destination. If you live in some areas of the US (Alaska, Hawaii, etc.) your shipping may be subject to additional charges. If this occurs, you may be eligible for a credit of the additional charge amount.
Providing an Incorrect/Insufficient Shipping Address You are responsible for providing an adequate shipping address. If GizmoRepair.com has to update, or correct your shipping address, additional charges may apply. If the package GizmoRepair.com sends to you is returned for any reason, GizmoRepair.com will re-ship the package via the same shipping address and shipping method at additional cost to you. In some cases, an updated or alternate address is required to reship a package. GizmoRepair.com will contact you to inform you the package has been returned. If GizmoRepair.com does not successfully deliver your package to you after 30 days after the original contact date informing you of the returned package, the package will become property of GizmoRepair.com
Orders Suspicious of Fraudulent Activity In the event of the speculation of suspicious or fraudulent activity, GizmoRepair.com reserves the right to hold an order for up to 30 business days. If your order exceeds $100 USD, if your shipping address differs from your billing address, if your shipping name differs from your billing name, if multiple quantities are ordered, or similar activity, your order may be subject to a hold. GizmoRepair.com reserves the right to hold orders until payment has cleared.
Saturday Shipping
At your request, GizmoRepair.com will gladly ship your device so it arrives to you on a Saturday. If you wish to have your device delivered on a Saturday, GizmoRepair.com will provide you a tracking number for your Saturday shipment order. GizmoRepair.com ships Saturday shipments via UPS or FedEx, depending on which service delivers easiest to the shipping address you provided. In order for your package to arrive the Saturday of the current week, your shipping order must be placed no later than 1pm on that week's Friday. If you select the Saturday Shipping method, and you decide that you would like for your package to arrive earlier than Saturday, GizmoRepair.com will not refund you the price amount difference between the Saturday Shipping cost and regular shipping cost.
Shipment Intercept
GizmoRepair.com will charge $20 USD for outgoing packages that need to be redirected to an address different from the shipping address you provided when placing the order. This charge is exempt if you notify GizmoRepair.com of the address change 24 hours before the package is shipped. If the package gets returned to GizmoRepair.com, you will be responsible for any intercept/reshipped package fees.
Signatures on Delivery
As a convenience to you, GizmoRepair.com does not require customer signatures for delivery of packages we ship. This limits delayed packages and extra shipping fees. In some circumstances, package(s) you receive from GizmoRepair.com may require a customer signature. GizmoRepair.com reserves the right to require a customer signature on packages delivered as needed. Testimonials
The testimonials found on GizmoRepair.com are authentic, real-life testimonials from GizmoRepair.com customers. GizmoRepair.com has not paid or compensated for use of these testimonials. GizmoRepair.com has received written permission to use these testimonials. GizmoRepair.com reserves the right to edit, enhance, or repost customer testimonials for best business use. Customers' first name, city, state, and order information posted are factual, real-life customer data. GizmoRepair.com has received written customer consent to use this information.
Testing
For the purpose of quality control, GizmoRepair.com will test your device before and after the device is serviced. Testing includes but is not limited to audio, video, navigation, off/hold switch, screen sensitivity, microphone, speakers, and wifi connection. None of your data will be viewed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If GizmoRepair.com finds child pornography or other incriminating or illegal images on your device, GizmoRepair.com will be obligated to contact the appropriate authorities.
Unresolved Disputes
GizmoRepair.com will maintain the highest calibur of proefessionalism when resolving a customer dispute or misunderstanding.
Website Accuracy
GizmoRepair.com keeps product descriptions, photographs, graphs, links, videos, and all other content on our website as accurate as possible. Due to the rapidly changing nature of the devices we service, GizmoRepair.com does not guarantee entirely accurate website content all of the time. GizmoRepair.com is not responsible for content errors on our site or decisions you make based on the content. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order and/or correct inaccurate information at our discretion.
